The City of El Paso is proud to introduce Live Active EP, a free platform for the community and the City of El Paso to join together in a city-wide movement to promote better health and wellness by encouraging physical activity, improved nutrition, and strong mental health. Live Active El Paso offers free classes at different recreation centers around El Paso, such as Zumba, yoga, Dance Cardio, strength training, aquatics, sound baths, cooking demos, and so much more! The Texas Healthy Communities (TXHC) Program assists communities to assess their envn and make positive changes within their communities. TXHC assesses eight priority community-based policy, systems, and environmental change indicators vital to reducing the burden of chronic disease.

Move El Paso - Walking Trails is an initiative of the City of El Paso Department of Public Health in collaboration with community partners.
The City of El Paso Parks & Recreation Department aims to provide indoor and outdoor leisure services to persons of all ages so they can develop skills, socialize, experience nature, relax, and live a healthier lifestyle. Each park offers unique facility opportunities and walking paths.
The City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department also manages 11 Senior Centers along with a variety of programming for individuals 55 years of age or older.
